Dive sites in Sanur
Jeladi Wilis, located in East Sanur, is a gentle sloping dive site that begins at around three meters and descends to approximately twenty meters. Currents can occasionally be strong, so diving at slack tide is recommended. Visibility typically ranges from five to fifteen meters, with healthy corals providing habitat for nudibranchs, stingrays, scorpionfish, octopus, and many other reef species. It is also one of the best night dive sites in Sanur. Nearby, Dog Point features a gradual reef slope with sandy patches and coral outcrops, supporting diverse marine life such as reef fish, moray eels, rays, and occasional turtles. Conditions are generally mild, making it suitable for a wide range of divers and ideal for underwater photography. Shark Point, situated slightly further offshore, is known for regular sightings of white-tip reef sharks. The site consists of a reef slope with scattered coral formations and sandy areas, where schools of fish and rays are often seen passing through. Due to variable currents, this site is better suited for divers with some experience.
