Entering the ocean directly from the beach in Tulamben, snorkelers have several excellent options to explore. Among the very best is the renowned USAT Liberty Shipwreck, one of the most famous snorkeling sites in Bali. Heading left from the entry point, within just a few minutes our experienced snorkel guide will point out the iconic outline of the wreck beneath the surface. This is a truly unique site, where in as little as three meters of water you can clearly see substantial sections of the ship that has rested here for decades. One of the highlights of snorkeling here is the massive school of jackfish that calls the wreck home. Watching them move together in a giant swirling formation—shifting back and forth above the wreck—is an unforgettable sight and an incredible photo opportunity.
